The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) would like to warmly welcome you to the 21st ASEA General Assembly and Annual Meeting: “Africa Mapping the Future”. The event will take place at the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel, Cairo, Egypt over the period 19th - 21st November 2017.

It is a great honor for EGX to host this flagship event for the second time, as we hosted it previously in 2012.

It is worth mentioning that Cairo is the capital of Egypt, and is one of the largest cities in Africa. It represents the heart of Africa for its prominent geographical location and momentous history. Egypt is the world’s oldest civilization with more than 7000 years of history, and holds one third of the world’s ancient monuments.

As for the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), it is one of the oldest exchanges worldwide as it dates back to 1883. EGX is the most open and sophisticated stock exchange in North Africa and the Middle East. The Egyptian Exchange is always keen to build international cooperation with partner exchanges in Africa, the Middle East, and globally.

EGX is honored to host ASEA prestigious 2017 event. We believe this conference will provide a great opportunity for leaders of African exchanges for networking, sharing valuable experiences, as well as discussing the future development of financial markets in Africa, given global challenges and opportunities.
