“Access to Housing through the Emerging Senegal Plan”

The 1st Senegal International Housing, Building & Construction Exhibition & Conference (SEN HABITAT DAKAR) will take place from March 3 –5 2016 at the King Fahd Palace Hotel, Dakar, Senegal. It will be organised by the Ministry for Urban Renewal, Housing and Living Environment, Republic of Senegal, in association with AME Trade Ltd.

SEN HABITAT DAKAR 2016 will be an all-encompassing event focusing on the Senegalese and West African building, construction and interior decoration industries. Particular emphasis will be placed on the local production of building materials and new construction technologies.

Two different viewpoints (Our Habitat & My Habitat) will be examined during the event, with separately dedicated trade events, workshops and conferences, where all stakeholders will take part including both public and private sector, as well as the general public.

Senegal’s urban population will rise from 42.5 % in 2011 to 61.4 % in 2050.The building of over 15,000 social housing units per annum is planned through the framework of the Plan Senegal Emergent

Our Habitat: will centre on the external issues facing your housing environment
