Established in 2003, African Business Club is a network of managers and prospective managers, who form a platform for exchanging ideas. ABC’s goal is to contribute to Africa’s economic development. Its actions have so far focused on four areas: information, employment, entrepreneurship and education. Africa Business Club has recently created a 5 new area to strengthen its commitment towards Africa. This is the ABC Investment Forum and it focuses on the investment issues in Africa.

    African growth: myth or reality

Although Africa is currently considered by economists as one of the main engines of growth, there are still certain opportunities unknown to investors. This lack of knowledge limits the expansion of key sectors. It also limits the optimal utilization of reforms implemented by many African countries to attract foreign investment and strengthen the local businesses. This difficulty has led Africa to design and implement new policies regarding sustainable development. Today, Africa is the continent with the highest rate of investment return. Consequently, Africa’s economy is rapidly growing compared to other regions of the world. Africa, as shown by economic indicators and human development index, has shown tremendous economic growth. For this reason, this growth needs to be sustained by entrepreneurs and investors.
