(Reuters) - Standard & Poor's affirmed on Friday the sovereign credit ratings on the Gabonese Republic at 'BB-/B', citing the country's persistent current account surpluses and the government's modest debt burden.
The ratings agency said it has a stable outlook on the ratings, reflecting its expectations of continued brisk economic growth, slowly improving public investment quality, and ongoing current account surpluses. It also expects that the general government debt stock will stay low.
