Casablanca Finance City (CFC) and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) signed this Monday 25th of November, in CFC’s Headquarters in Casablanca, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to enhance and promote professionalism and professional standards in the financial services industry in Morocco and throughout the region.

    Thanks to this partnership, Morocco will be able to offer more than 50 CISI certifications. These include certificates and diplomas in asset management, corporate finance, derivatives, investment and private banking counselling, wealth management, Islamic finance and risk management in the financial services sector.

    The ceremony was marked by the launch of two examination centers in Morocco, located at the International University of Casablanca and at the “Fourth R Center” in Rabat.

    Casablanca Finance City is a financial center that seeks to make of Casablanca a regional hub for financial institutions, multinational corporations and professional services. CFC aims to become a financial gateway for the rest of the continent and in particular for the greater area of North, West and Central Africa.

    CISI is one of the largest professional body for those who work in the securities and investment industry in the UK and in a growing number of major financial centres around the world. In the past year, the center set over 39,000 examinations in 68 countries, covering a range of vocational qualifications. It musters more than 40,000 members in 89 countries.
