Tunisia's Central Bank today held its benchmark interest rate at 4 percent. Considering improvement of economic activity over the third quarter of the current year in industrialized countries, and positive indicators in the national economic situation.
The central bank last tightened the rate by 25 basis points to 4 percent on March.
"After having analyzed all these trends, the Board decided to keep unchanged the key rate of the Central Bank." the bank said in a statement.
