The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) announced the launch of newly designed website of the BSE, and a mobile application. The website domain remains www.bse.co.bw.
"This new website comes as a result of the need to create a more user-friendly browsing experience for our valued stakeholders. Further, this site aims to improve visibility of the BSE, as well as BSE listed companies, facilitate dissemination of market data, both free and paid while being compliant with international data privacy standards." the BSE said in a statement.
Some of the notable new features of the site include a stock market ticker displaying real-time price & indices movements, a watchlist function to monitor selected securities, an optimized search engine for easy navigation and integrated social media buttons, amongst others.
Commenting on the launch, CEO of the BSE, Thapelo Tsheole said, "As we strive towards being a world class securities exchange, it is important for us to make information regarding our local capital markets accessible for our current and prospective clients to make informed, investment decisions. The functionalities of this newly designed website will ensure that visitors to the site are offered are more vibrant, user experience to suit their specific needs. I commend my team on their efforts in the completion of this project”.
