The Council of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has approved the resignation of CalBrokers from its membership effective 13th December 2019, the bourse said in a statement.

     

    This is pursuant to section 7&8 of the GSE Membership Rules. This means that, CalBrokers will no longer be a member of the Ghana Stock Exchange and will therefore no longer provide brokerage services.

    Kindly note the following:

    1. CalBrokers exit from the securities market is voluntary.
    2. All clients of CalBrokers will be transferred to selected brokerage houses of their choice.
    3. All clients of CalBrokers will be advised accordingly on how to get their accounts transferred.

     

    The statement also aldded that clients will not incur any cost in transferring their accounts to other brokerage houses.

     

    CAL Brokers Limited is a subsidiary of CAL Bank Limited.
