(Ecofin Agency) - Vivo Energy Investment (BRVM:SHEC, SEM:SHEL), firm distributing oil products (gasoline, gas, lubricants, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel) in 16 African nations is announced on the London Stock Exchange, with an initial public offering (IPO) valued at $3 billion.
Ivory Coast's NSIA Banque IPO-NSIA.CI will launch an initial public offering (IPO) of stock on Monday ahead of a planned listing on West Africa's regional BRVM bourse in the first week of September, company officials said on Tuesday.
The first listing reflects the commitment of the BRVM for the development of Islamic finance in the Regional Financial Market WAEMU. It will enhance the attractiveness and liquidity of its Islamic bonds, particularly for individual holders, while ensuring the success of future issuances by WAEMU States.
The Ivorian government is about to sell its 23% stake in Sucrivoire in an initial public offering, which should get it a plus-value of 9.016 billion CFA francs, sources close to the operation said. The executive will finally dispose of 1.127 million shares, instead of 563,500 shares announced previously, each to be sold at 13,000 CFA francs.
