Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB) (COMI) has obtained the approvals of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to acquire the remaining 49% of Mayfair CIB for $40 million, according to a bourse filing on January 29th.
Vodacom Group has acquired an additional stake of 0.02%, equivalent to 49,493 shares, in Vodafone Egypt from minority shareholders for €17.92 per share after the subscription period for its offer expired yesterday, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian exchange.
