THE Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc has registered a sharp rise in its share price, now trading at K2.65 per share, an all-time high, driven by a significantly improved financial performance year-on-year.
MTN Zambia and the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) have launched the LuSE App which will enable customers to conduct transactions on the stock market online.
LISTED firms on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) last week witnessed a nose dive in turnover of K5.2 million with Zanaco Plc earning the bulk. Zanaco managed K2.6 million after 3.1 million shares were transacted in 16 trades, followed by Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) which made K1.56 million after 897,651 shares were performed in 91 trades.
COMPANIES listed on Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) last week witnessed improved trade activity resulting in a significant increase in the overall turnover to over K10.7 million from around K16,700 the previous week.
