The Association of Securities Dealing Houses of Nigeria are planning to create Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange later this November due to the decline in the stock market.
The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) and Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has okayed Access Bank (NGSE:ACCESS) proposal to acquire 93.57 per cent of Kenyan based lender Transnational Bank Ltd.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in promoting cross listing and trading of green bonds in Nigeria and Luxembourg. Onyema OON and LuxSE CEO, Robert Scharfe, which took place during the annual meeting of the World Federation of Exchanges in Singapore on Wednesday 9 October.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The NSE or The Exchange) is set to launch X-Mobile, a dynamic and user-friendly mobile app, to enhance investors’ participation in the Nigerian capital market. The NSE mobile app which is currently in its Beta state will be launched at the 2019 NSE Market Data Workshop taking place on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
