Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) emerged as the winner of the Most Innovative African Stock Exchange in the 2013 Africa investor Index Series Awards held on 24th September 2013 at the New York Stock Exchange.
The Index Series Awards is held annually to profile African capital market success stories and recognise Africa's best performing stock exchanges, listed companies, investment banks, research teams, regulators, socially responsible companies and fund managers.
NSE flourished in the Most Innovative African Stock Exchange category where its initiatives to increase company listings and diversify asset classes impressed the experienced panel of judges.
