Home Afrika, one of the leading real estate developers, has today listed some 405,255,320 ordinary shares with a reference price of 12 shillings at a unique listing ceremony which marked the company's debut on Nairobi Securities Exchange, Growth Enterprise Market Segment (GEMS).
In an effort to increase the scope of capital market products available in Kenya, the Capital Markets Authority is set to facilitate the establishment of an Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) market to improve liquidity and ultimately deepen the capital markets.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) became an associate member of the Association of Futures Markets (AFM). The Association promotes and encourages the establishment of new derivative and related markets and organizes international conferences to promote communication, transfer of information and experiences among members.
