Choppies Supermarket is set to continue its expansion in to the African markets as it seeks to purchase 10 supermarkets in Kenya valued at almost P100 million (US$10 million).

THE JSE will get another African boost when Botswana grocery retailer Choppies Enterprises lists on the main board at the end of this month.

Lucara Diamond has recovered a 341.9 carat gem quality diamond from its Karowe Mine in Botswana, the company said in a statement.

Botswana Stock Exchange's (BSE) index of local companies continued to make impressive gains as leading stocks saw their share prices going up on back of positive results.
