Shoe vendor Nairobi Business Ventures trading as K Shoe today became the first firm in almost two years to list on the Growth Enterprise Market Segment (GEMS) of the bourse.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has reiterated its commitment to introduce a derivatives market by the end of 2016.
Plum LLP has announced intentions to acquire 23.34% shareholding (~452 Million shares) of Britam Holdings Ltd. This will mean that Plum LLP together with associated persons(Equity Bank Chairman ,Equity Bank CEO & and related companies will control 38.54% of Britam Holdings Ltd. The proposed acquisition is in order to provide Britam and its shareholders time to identify a strategic investor.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has approved the listing of the Nairobi Business Ventures (NBV), a leather products retail chain, on its Growth and Enterprise Market Segment (GEMS).
