Overall a good performance on African markets with a resilience in South Africa despite political tensions.

Good performance on African markets this week with the majority of markets closing on a positive note or flattish versus the previous week.

As Pablo Neruda says it: “You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming”. And this week, we the only things which may be cut are interest rates in Kenya, Ghana and Egypt. Spring is coming on African Markets.

Spring is knocking at the door and even more so on African markets this week. A vast majority of indices closed the week on a positive note and those which did not were really close.
