Egyptian Exchange ended the week down 0.24 percent on real estate losses
Egypt's main index EGX30 ended the trading week on Thursday down 0.24 percent to 7,781 points as the heavyweight real estate sector plunged.

Egypt's main index EGX30 ended the trading week on Thursday down 0.24 percent to 7,781 points as the heavyweight real estate sector plunged.
Egypt's Juhayna Food Industries saw a 23 percent increase in net profits in the three months ending 31 March compared to the same period a year earlier, said a company statement sent to the bourse on Sunday.
An Egyptian subsidiary of UAE-based Abraaj Group requested on Thursday to be listed on the Cairo Stock Exchange with a capital of EGP 80 million ($9 million), the head of the country's bourse, Mohamed Omran, told official news agency MENA.
Egypt's main index EGX30 dipped 0.9 percent on Sunday to 7,480 points, almost erasing last week's gains due to profit taking, according to Wafik Dawood, portfolio manager at Cairo-based Compass Capital.
